I’ve been on a journey, for as long as I can remember, of navigating the world through music. I’ve never really talked about it, or even let people know that I play the piano! So, this web site is about inviting people to join the journey with me as it evolves from here.

For a little background, I’m a self-taught musician and I play by ear. I’ve just recently started studying music, so this journey pretty much starts with me being completely untrained. So, trained musicians, please be patient :-). My album, Untrained Melodies, is accurately named. We’ll forget the few music lessons that my parents tried over the years because I totally opted out…

Who knows where things will go from here, but I’ll be blogging about my journey with music and sound…and my thoughts along the way. I also plan to add new recordings once the music and theory lessons start to kick in. Until then, I hope you enjoy my raw and unfiltered music now. Feel free to contact me with comments and questions because I’m curious about your own journey with music, and you may see the perspectives you share woven in to this story as we go along.

Gratitude

I have a lot to be thankful for because I’m surrounded by people who encourage me, inspire me and make me laugh. Here are just a few…

My dad, what can I say, you are the best and I’m glad you taught me every song from the 60’s-80’s…we sound amazing in our car concerts!

My mom, for always having vision and a way to make things happen…and, thanks for sacrificing  yourself for the piano (>_<)

My Jewish mother Heidi, you are so f**ing fabulous.

Robert Lang Studios, especially Joel Williams and Seth McDonald who make me feel like a legit musician.

Victoria Wright who is the most creative and fun photographer I know.
